The Silver Ring Thing Event

The Silver Ring Thing event is only successful because of volunteers. The event brings many young adults that are not currently attending church and are ripe for discipleship.
Will you be the one that extends the hand of fellowship to our youth?
All volunteers working the March 5th event need to be available 2 hours prior to event start. Training is provided by the Silver Ring Crew.
Areas to volunteer:
Merchandise table: 20 volunteers needed
Youth will be able to purchase a silver ring to symbolize their decision to wait. Volunteers will help size the rings. Merchandise table is set up BEFORE and AFTER the event. Please let a staff member know if you can work both shifts or just one!
Counselors: 50-100 Counselors needed
At the end of the event, SRT will share the gospel to those in attendance. The CPC wishes to have counselors on site during this time to discuss and answer questions that those in attendance might have about salvation. Gospel tracts will be available and training will be provided.
Equipment Set-up/Tear down: 4-5 volunteers needed
The SRT equipment can get heavy and volunteers are needed to unload equipment upon the crew’s noon arrival. For those assisting at noon during unloading, lunch is provided. Tear down will occur immediately after the event’s close at 9 p.m. Please let us know which time you will be assisting.

Sanctity of Human Life Sunday
A big THANK YOU to the churches that helped to raise awareness for Sanctity of Human Life Sunday (SOHLS) observed on Jan. 19th. The Laurel CPC distributed 7,500 bulletin inserts to local churches.
The CPC Staff is very blessed to have each of you along side us as we speak out for the innocent.
“Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless;
maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.
Rescue the weak and needy;
Deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” Psalm 82:3-4
